First of many to come

Just a quick note to let you know that the first of many paid videos has been made live. This one is just a simple, fast-paced deployment video - very rough (hence the cheap price), and very real (this was an actual deployment). We'll be putting more of these "real hands on" type videos up in the coming weeks, along with more formal content outlining web development basics. Cart malfunction

Hi everyone. I just discovered a bug where the cart was totally malfunctioning for the last 24 hours. This has now been fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The cart is now alive and kicking! You may notice that products are no longer downloadable directly. The free vids are still free, but you need to signup to get them. This is so we can support free and paid content. The other good news is, there will be some paid content up incredibly soon. Our aim is to release a new video every week at minimum, so stay tuned for more info :)

Yes, yes, yes. It's not going to be ready today, or yesterday for that matter! We should launch the cart Real Soon Now. There's not too much left to do, but we want to make sure it's squeaky clean before we launch it. Purchasable content arriving regularly at a sensei site near you soon :) Stay tuned! In the meantime, here's some things for you to look at: the happy happy joy joy song, ooh and it might excite you to know that Weebl's first album is on iTunes now ;-)
Shopping is coming in the next week

Hi all, just a quick update to let you know that we've been working very hard to bring the shopping cart and purchase feature up. It's a lot of work, and we're about 80% of the way there. The next post I make should be announcing shiny new delicious purchasable content. This should be within the week. Woo! :)

Hey all! It's been a very long time since we've updated here. Things have been moving reasonably slowly behind the scenes - but moving, nonetheless.
We've got some new content, and now we're working on building a reasonably nice cart and purchasing system so that you can take a look at the paid content we'd like to provide you with.
Most importantly, though, is that we'll be providing you with more frequent updates from now on.

Resource page updated

No new videos today (yet), but we're working on the underlying structure of the sensei app. We've just updated the resources page, and the entire list of resources is database driven rather than statically, now. I'm working on the shop next, and we have some new videos almost ready to go there for when I deploy the shop: the very simple beginner's videos we talked about in the last blog entry. Stay tuned :) Very exciting stuff.
New Vids - Blog

Well it's been a while. We've finally updated the videos, and this is the last of the free vids for a while. Next coming is a series of vids and instructional material for small amounts of money. The quality will be much better for these paid ones. We will still be making free vids, but less often. Let us know how much you'd be prepared to pay by dropping us an email at sensei [at] zenunit [dot] com, or you could also let us know anything you're particularly interested in seeing. The new vids will be starting from extreme basics (ie 'what is a web server?' level). We are thinking about AUD$7 for a 30 min vid. What do you think?
